#43: Human Body app by Tinybop Review for Parents and Children

If you are looking for a fun and educational iPad app for children and the family in general then I believe that the Human Body iPad app fits the bill.

The application allows you to build individual profiles for each person and pick whether you want to play the app as a boy or a girl and name your profile.  After creating your profile an outline of a human body appears and that is where the exploring begins.

The application lets you look at the different layers within the body.  You can look at the nervous system, bones, organs, eyes and teeth and more.  The application does more than just let you look a the organs, it lets you interact with the body.  If you touch the skin you can see the nervous system send a signal to the brain.  If you eat something you can watch the body digest it.  If you run you can see how the blood pumps through the body and heart faster then when it was walking.

Another interesting feature of the application is that you can look at the different layers of an organ.  If you are looking at the heart you can change the view to see the different chambers within the heart and how blood flows within it.  Very cool if you ask me.

Human Body app by Tiny BopMy 5 year old really enjoyed playing this application over and over again. I think it has quite a bit of replay value.

It sells for $2.99 which I think is appropriate for how nice the app is designed, the information it provides and the education value of the app.

I would encourage you to watch the app review video below to get an idea of what you would be purchasing.

Thanks for reading and watching!
